Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association SMHA Alumni Lend Their Voices
The Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association would like to thank Byron Bitz, Luke Schenn and James Wright for helping out with the SMHA’s registration radio advertising campaign. All three SMHA grads provided their voices for the radio spots that will run in late August on Saskatoon radio stations to promote minor hockey.
Byron Bitz is a former Saskatoon Flyer who now plays for the Florida Panthers after being traded there last season by the Boston Bruins. Luke Schenn is going into his third season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Luke is a former Saskatoon Redwing. James Wright is going into his second season with the Tampa Bay Lightning. James played a half season last year in Tampa before being sent to the Vancouver Giants of the WHL to conclude the season and lead the team through the playoffs. James is also an alumni of the Saskatoon Flyers.
Below are photos of the three players doing their voice overs. As you can see by the big grins, it took more than one take for the boys to get it right!
